Gregg Langbehn Tabbed as Third Manager in Franchise History




Gregg Langbehn, formerly of the Astros system, was announced as the field manager for the 2009 season at a press conference on Wednesday...Langbehn spent 10 seasons in the Astros organization, serving most recently as the manager of the Lexington Legends in 2008, a Class-A team in the South Atlantic League...He was 45-93 with the Legends and has also managed in the New York-Penn League with the Tri-City ValleyCats for three seasons, winning a pair of division crowns...Look for an interview with the new skipper right here on Calderwood's Corner sometime in the next week...Below are the links to further information on his hiring...The Langbehn era begins when the Beach Bums visit Kalamazoo on May 22...

Good Luck Beach Bums -- I am a season ticket holder with the Lexington Legsnds, and Gregg Langbehn didnt do a very good job as a leader over the past couple years....I guess thats why the Astros released him!!! We dont want him -- Although you most certainly can!!
