Late yesterday afternoon I received word of a former RailCat on his way to the affiliated ranks...According to the Atlantic League's Bridgeport Bluefish, Brad Furnish (Pictured), who pitched in 39 games for the RailCats last season and held a 4-0 record with a 3.28 ERA, has been signed by the Chicago White Sox...The left-hander will head to High-A Winston Salem in the Carolina League...Furnish joins Tim Byrdak and Jose Yepez, both of whom are currently in the majors, as former RailCats in the affiliated ranks...
