In another roster move today, the Beach Bums released third baseman Matt Imwalle...Imwalle had played in 20 games and was hitting .194 with no homers and 8RBI...He had a pair of doubles and a pair of triples along with a stolen base...Imwalle had 62 at bats and struck out 26 times...He had not started in the last three contests and was 0-for-8 with five strikeouts in the last three games he played...He was an All-Star in 2007 for the Sioux Falls Canaries of the American Association...
