Storm Rips Through Southern Illinois
Speaking of pictures being worth a thousand words...It seems I am on a Southern Illinois kick this morning, but check this out...An inland hurricane ripped through Southern Illinois and caused some damage to Rent One Park, knocking down two light towers...Wind was estimated at 106 MPH!!! And yet shortly there after, Mike Pinto had his team on the field practicing and thankfully everyone was safe...One of the advantages of having turf...The first photo came from the Marion Daily-Republican while the other is presently on the Frontier League website...Check out the story below...
