Traverse City native Jason Cairns has joined the Beach Bums roster for spring training...
Cairns prepped at TC Central and played collegiately at Central Michigan University...He was chosen in the eighth round of the 2005 MLB Draft by the Cardinals and spent three seasons with the Swing of the Quad Cities in the Midwest League as a late-inning reliever (He is pictured in a Swing uniform)...
Cairns will be an LS-1 by Frontier League standards...
